Spam at IO/Prismnet
(too old to reply)

So, if I post in this group using all caps, will I hear an echo? :)

Just curious to know if anybody else saw an uptick in spam received this
morning (4/27.) It's usually not too bad, but today it seems like the
filters all went on a coffee break at the same time. It's not the kind of
thing I like to report to the PrismNet guys without some corroboration, so
here I post hoping to hear from other IO holdouts. Thanks in advance to
anybody with something to share.

Same here. I suspect a general advance in the arms race that
the filters haven't caught up with.

I got a swarm of it earlier this morning, too - around 15 or so nuggets. (At
least it's easy to deal with in Pine...15 or so Ds did the trick.)

Weird...I've got a pretty long blacklist in ./.spamassassin, but it doesn't
usually work that well. (Of course, they're probably seeing how many
addresses they can harvest from this newsgroup now. *spit*)

Yeah, same here. When I looked at the headers of some chinese
rubbish they asserted that the message had a spam score of -48.7
while my threshold was set to +1005.
