Post by Rocket RayI got an email from a mailing list I'm on, saying they're getting repeated
"no such user" bounces when sending to me. Is anyone else having problems
with mail getting wrongly bounced?
Not from mailing lists, but I do have complaints from e-mail senders
overseas who can't get past the SORBS spam protection. PrismNet subscribes
to that service so that they can turn away mail from servers that aren't
on their 'known good' mailer list. But if your mailing list admin is
actually getting a non-deliverable from zaxxon, defender or redbaron, then
obviously their messages are getting through the SORBS layer.
Usually people who have problems e-mailing me don't even get a bounce
message. The mail item just gets lost, and nobody gets any kind of
notification. Sorry I'm not more helpful.
